EP Architecture identity

Defining space through design, with a brand rooted in form, structure, and modern perspective.

Efraim Papathomas is a creative architect and 3D visualizer. Among his expanding projects is a limited collection of modern furniture. The challenge was to create an identity that is both timeless and contemporary, drawing inspiration from Mr. Papathomas' unique design style.

The logo is a unique representation of the architect's initials, E and P. Each letter is designed from a different perspective to create the illusion of depth and structure, forming a corner when viewed together. The design process began by exploring how to express the idea of architectural construction within the typography itself. I experimented with geometric forms, using the natural angles of the letters to reflect the precision and craftsmanship associated with architecture. The letter "E" is designed to appear as if it’s viewed from one angle, while the "P" is seen from another, creating a sense of movement and space. The intersecting lines of both letters converge to form a corner, symbolizing the foundations of construction and the meeting point of two planes. This not only gives the logo a three-dimensional effect but also subtly communicates the core essence of the profession—working with space, angles, and structure.

The goal was to make the logo visually engaging while still maintaining a minimalist, modern aesthetic. The combination of perspectives helps to achieve a clean, sharp look, while the three-dimensionality emphasizes the firm's expertise in architecture and spatial design.
